It’s the favourite part of the Turquoise (8 to 10-year-old children) lesson: karaoke and dancing along at the end of a reading lesson when the students follow the lyrics to a song. It is the best fluency activity ever! Today’s pick was “Waka Waka – This time for Africa!”. Even with words written in another language – because the students are great readers they can still read and sing along.
