At the close of every term, it’s exam season for our primary students at GGT! Our Kobs and Crested Cranes tackle their tests over two days, while our White Rhinos, Silverbacks, Nile Crocs, and Cheetahs take on three days of exams. While exams aren’t usually a student’s favorite part of school, they’re a valuable opportunity for both learners and teachers to celebrate how much progress has been made throughout the term.

We know that many students feel anxious about testing, which is why our teachers go the extra mile to make exam days calm, positive, and even fun. Each day begins with a group prayer to center and encourage our students. From there, they tackle their reading and math exams in the morning. But it’s not all test papers and pencils — after the exams, teachers keep the energy upbeat with engaging activities like read-alouds, creative projects, student presentations, and logic puzzles that challenge the mind in playful ways.
This term, our students have worked incredibly hard, and their efforts are shining through in their exam results. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them!
