Forming Clay in Art Lessons:

Turquoise Class moulding clay

Our Year 3 primary students, called Turquoise class, work with clay to form each a leaf plate. We have been looking at plants as the theme of this term 1 in the Art & Craft class. We chose leaves as a part of a plant and discussed the importance of leaves, sketched and then coloured them, started with the leaves' skeletons and now concluded by making a leaf plate. Students with their creativity will complete their design using paint, and they will be able to use it in different ways at their homes.
