With the start of term 1 of 2022, we have reached new milestones in increasing and retaining our pupil population and hiring and professional development of our teachers!

We doubled our pupil population from 31 to more than 60 pupils from age 2 up to 11 and we welcomed 25 new Ugandan and international families! Before the pupils even arrived for term 1 learning, our teachers prepared themselves and their rooms well and received a wide range of trainings on topics such as first aid, classroom management, utilising mental maths during lessons, evaluation of writing assessments, Read Aloud practices and more.
We also established a new homework routine for the pupils to promote literacy based on a reward system. At first pupils and parents had to familiarize themselves with the new tasks, but surely the homework became a favourite for the pupils and gave them a chance to shine proudly as daily and weekly winners.
